What is
Freight Match?
Freight Match is an Australia wide online freight matching service that connects transport operators with people moving freight.
How does
Freight Match work?
Transport Operators and Individuals/Businesses wanting to move freight are both able to register to the website for free.
Once registered to the website, users are able to post available freight and available trucks for free by clicking on Submit Ad or calling Freight Match.
Users can search and view both available trucks and available freight on the website for free. This will include all details from the ad excluding contact details. Users are also able to call Freight Match to find freight and/or trucks. Transport operators are only charged when they successfully find freight to move.

Registering with Freight Match
How do I register to www.freightmatch.com.au?
Registration to Freight Match is Free.
Simply click here, fill in your details and click whether you are a Client (Freight to Move), Transport Operator or Both (Client and Transport Operator).
Once you are registered you will be sent a confirmation email. In order to activate your account you will need to open the email that Freight Match has sent you and click the confirmation link.
Why haven't I received my confirmation email?
You may not have received the activation email because it was filtered by your Junk E-Mail Inbox. Please check your Spam folder to ensure this hasn’t happened. If you would like us to send you the email again, you can contact us with the request.
Managing Your Account
How long does my available truck or available load stay on the website for?
Your ad will appear on the Freight Match website until either:
- You take down your ad by either closing or freezing it.
- The drop off date exceeds the current date. In this instance the ad will be frozen and you can re-activate the ad by modifying it in My Submissions. Alternatively, you are able to close the ad from My Submissions.
- After 30 days of submitting an ad it is automatically frozen. However, the ad can be re-activated for another 30 days from My Submissions.
How do I modify or unfreeze my ad?
You are able to modify or unfreeze your ad from My Submissions. Simply click on modify on the ad you wish to modify or unfreeze.
How do I change my status from Client (freight to move) to Transport Operator, or vice versa?
When registering the website you are able to register as a Client (Freight to Move), Transport Operator or Both (Client and Transport Operator). After this point if you wish to change your selection simply go to Edit My Details and make your change as necessary.
Notifications - Email and SMS
Registered users of Freight Match can receive Email and SMS Notifications. Email notifications are free to receive and are sent about freight jobs that could be of interest. Please click here to sign up for email notifications. SMS notifications cost 15 cents per SMS and it sends an SMS to your mobile about jobs that might be of interest. Users can sign up for SMS notifications by clicking here. Users will also need to enter a valid credit card in the billing section to start receiving the notifications. A user can opt out of SMS or Email notifications at anytime.Payments
What is the cost?
Freight Match offers a simple pricing structure where we only charge when a transport operator successfully finds freight to move. This is only possible by calling Freight Match who will assist to facilitate bookings along with supplying the details of a load.
At this point, the transport operator is charged 7% with a minimum of $30 and maximum of $150 by Freight Match of the price to move the freight.
How do I pay?
Payment can be made via credit card over the phone or via EFT and sending the direct debit receipt via email.
When do I pay?
Payment is made once the load details have been facilitated by Freight Match and before the transport operator picks up the load.
Can I get a refund?
If for some reason, beyond the control of the transport operator, the load cannot go ahead then Freight Match will credit the transport operator’s account with the commission paid for that load.
